Uzbekistan has established cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Poland for the first time.
Yesterday, June 12, the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova, met with the Minister of Education of the Republic of Poland, Barbara Novaskaya. This was reported by the Ministry's Information Service.
In order to develop bilateral cooperation, such areas as STEM, digitalization and information technologies in education, joint educational projects, vocational training of students, and cooperation between pedagogical higher educational institutions were discussed.
It should be noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland in the field of preschool and school education has been established for the first time.
The meeting was also attended by Bianka Sivińska, head of the Perspektywy Women in Tech Foundation, as an honorary guest.
During the dialogue, an agreement was reached on the joint use of international initiatives aimed at strengthening gender equality and increasing the potential of women leaders in the field of education, in particular, the capabilities of the global TechWomen network.
"Uzbekistan is one of our main partners in the region. Education is a part of the economy.
"We are very interested in the reforms being carried out in higher educational institutions in the field of pedagogy in Uzbekistan," said the Minister of Education of Poland, Barbara Novaskaya.
