People's Education Info was awarded on the occasion of the Day of Media Workers

Today, an event was organized at the Ministry of Preschool and School Education in connection with June 27 - Press and Mass Media Day.

It was attended by several journalists and bloggers working in the field of education.

The Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova, opened the event and thanked journalists and bloggers for their great services in the development of freedom of speech and the press, coverage of innovations in the field of education, wide promotion of achievements, and in turn, objective coverage of some shortcomings in the system.

Ulugbek Pulatov, director of the People's Education Info editorial office, also took part in today's event and received memorable gifts presented by the Ministry to the editorial office.

"When I started blogging in the field of education, I worked as the deputy director for spiritual and educational work at secondary school No. 21 in the Kushtepa district of the Fergana region. Initially, the "Xalq ta'limi Info" channel, created on the Telegram messenger, was launched to serve as an assistant to the deputy director.

At that time, I only uploaded documents to the channel, and the number of channel members did not even reach 50 subscribers. Later, in 2020, during the quarantine period, I posted posts on the channel and began to answer the questions of teachers. After that, they began to know him as a blogger in the field of education.

Now, in order to further expand the "Xalq ta'limi Info" project, we have started working as an official media outlet, expanding our activities and launching the website xalqtaliminfo.uz. Currently, 2 reporters and about 10 team members are working on the site. When the time comes, we will criticize the system and openly bring out the shortcomings.

At this point, we also express our gratitude to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, which is correctly accepting our criticisms. The recognition by the ministry of the activities of the website xalqtaliminfo.uz gives us more strength and energy," says the head of the editorial office Ulugbek Pulatov.

It should be recalled that the "Xalq ta'limi Info" project was founded in 2018. On October 16, 2023, the website xalqtaliminfo.uz was registered with the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
