Students from Uzbekistan won 5 medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad

The national team of Uzbekistan won 2 silver and 3 bronze medals at the 65th International Mathematical Olympiad. This was reported by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

More than 600 talented young people from 110 countries of the world took part in this Olympiad.

Meet the medalists:

• Ozobek Akhtamov - 10th grade student of the specialized school named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi - bronze medal,

• Rasulbek Gafforov - 9th grade student of the specialized school named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi - bronze medal,

• Madina Suyunova - 11th grade student of school No. 96 Kitab district, Kashkadarya region - bronze medal,

• Elbek Zohidjonov - 9th grade student of the specialized school named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi - silver medal,

• Tulkin Zhaylovov - a student of the 9th grade of the specialized boarding school No. 1 in the city of Karshi, Kashkadarya region - won a silver medal.
