Graduates of schools in Karabakh will be admitted to universities of Uzbekistan without examinations

Graduates of the Mirzo Ulugbek General Education School No. 1, built by the Government of Uzbekistan in Fuzuli, Karabakh, will be admitted to higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan without examinations. This was announced by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratboy Sharipov.
According to the minister, who got acquainted with the conditions created in the school and met with school teachers and students, teachers from Uzbekistan will also teach in this school, and cooperation will be further expanded in the future.
"I am very glad that our Azerbaijani children who graduated from school will carry a school certificate named after Mirzo Ulugbek in the future. Children who have graduated from this school are also considered our children. Therefore, they will be admitted to higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan without examinations," Kunirotboy Sharipov said.
It should be noted that in April 2021, Uzbekistan built a school in the liberated Karabakh as a gift to Azerbaijan. Two years later, on August 23, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev opened the Mirzo Ulugbek School in Karabakh.
