Teachers who did not go to the appointed place on the "Day of Professional Development" are now considered not to have come to work

The procedure for organizing "Days of Professional Development" and "Hours of Professional Development" for teachers of general education institutions has been determined.

The order of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education No. 246 dated August 7, 2024 was signed.

The days of organization of the "Day of Professional Development" and "Hour of Professional Development" events are determined as follows:

Monday - Social science teachers (history, foundations of state and law, education);

Tuesday - Teachers of philology (native language and literature, Uzbek/Russian);

Wednesday - Teachers of natural sciences (physics and astronomy, chemistry, biology, geography and economics, science);

Thursday - Teachers of exact sciences (mathematics, computer science and information technology);

Juma - Foreign language teachers;

Saturday - Applied Arts (Art, Drawing, Music Culture, Technology, Physical Education, Pre-Conscription Initial Training) and Primary Education Teachers.

The participation of a teacher of a general education institution in the "Days of Professional Development" and "Hours of Professional Development" events has been defined as his obligation to regularly improve his qualifications.

Professional development days are a working day for teachers of relevant subjects, primarily participating in professional development activities.

During the "Day of Professional Development" and "Hour of Professional Development" events, teachers of relevant subjects are invited to classes in schools and other activities.

Failure of the teacher to participate in the "Day of Professional Development" and "Hour of Professional Development" events is recorded as an absentee on this day and is taken into account when calculating his salary in the manner prescribed by the current legislation.

If the teacher does not participate in the "Day of Professional Development" and "Hour of Professional Development" events for 12 hours during the academic year due to valid reasons (invalidity, business trip, and other circumstances established by law), they will be provided with the necessary knowledge and skills through professional development in a special training course organized on the "Continuous Professional Education" electronic platform opportunity to acquire.

If the teacher does not participate in the "Day of Professional Development" and "Hour of Professional Development" events for 12 hours during the academic year without valid reasons, he is required to improve his skills in a special training course organized on the "Continuous Professional Education" electronic platform on a contractual basis.

A teacher who did not attend a special training course organized on the "Continuous Professional Education" electronic platform during the academic year without a valid reason and did not improve his skills, will be subject to measures of influence in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation.
