The Tashkent city DIA issued a statement saying that the news that 54 crimes were committed in one school was unfounded
Earlier, deputy khokim of Tashkent city Durdona Rakhimova said that 17 crimes were committed in one of the schools in Tashkent and 54 in another.
The Tashkent City Department of Preschool and School Education denied the situation. The department said that the information contained in this content did not correspond to the truth.
"Recently, at the Palace of National Cinema Art in Tashkent, an open dialogue was held on the topic "We are all responsible for the education and upbringing of children!" with the participation of officials of the Tashkent city administration, the city prosecutor's office, the Department of Preschool and School Education, the National Guard, and the Main Department of Internal Affairs.
At it, officials of various departments expressed their attitude towards improving the quality of education and upbringing in the capital's general education schools, including the prevention of offenses and crime among students. In turn, some statistical data was mentioned.
However, the above-mentioned numbers and information are completely unfounded, and no such crimes and violations have been recorded in any of the capital's general education schools," the press service of the Tashkent city State Pedagogical University said.
