From now on, "Zakovat" competitions for schoolchildren will be held only in spring

According to the "Zakovat Intellectual Club" NGO, the Republican Organizing Committee has adopted a relevant decision on holding "Zakovat" competitions among students of educational institutions.

According to it, starting from 2025, "Zakovat" competitions among students of general secondary schools, students of educational institutions of the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions system, and students of secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions will be held in spring.

All three competitions will be held in April-May of this year.

At the republican stage of the competitions, the winning teams will be awarded cash prizes of 100, 60, and 40 million soums, respectively.

At the same time, taking into account that these competitions were held in the autumn season of the 2024/25 academic year, and the winning teams were given a benefit and scholarship for admission to higher educational institutions without exams, this time it is envisaged that the teams that took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the competition will not be given this benefit and scholarship.

The provision of benefits and scholarships to the members of the winning teams will continue in the competitions held in the spring season of the 2025/26 academic year.
