Problems related to the payment of a 70% bonus to teachers are being resolved positively.

In some regions of the Fergana region, cases of non-payment of these bonuses to teachers with a 70% bonus were noted. These problems were positively resolved after the intervention of xalqtaliminfo.uz and the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan.

As is known, paragraph 10 of point 3 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 26, 2023 No. UP-79 stipulates that pedagogical personnel who have received a qualification certificate based on international standards are paid an additional payment in the amount of 70 percent of the current amounts of tariff rates.

Also, in paragraph 48 of the Regulation, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 572 dated September 17, 2021, it is indicated that after the accreditation of authorized foreign organizations that have internationally recognized the system of attestation and assignment of qualification categories to pedagogical personnel, an additional 70 percent allowance to the basic tariff rates is established for teachers who participated in the attestation and received a score of 86 or higher, and the validity period of the allowance is two years, after which they can participate in the tests for the allowance again.

Accordingly, based on the results of the certification of teaching staff conducted in January-June of this year, 4,199 teachers scored 86 points or higher and received (or retained) the highest and first qualification categories, and an additional 70 percent surcharge to their basic tariff rates was established.

However, in some regions, teachers from the Toshloq district of the Fergana region have appealed to xalqtaliminfo.uz regarding the failure to pay these bonuses to pedagogical staff who were assigned a 70% bonus.

Despite the fact that the Ministry of Preschool and School Education gave special instructions to the heads of territorial departments on the payment of these bonuses, the teachers of the Tashlak district were not paid these bonuses.

Therefore, this appeal was sent to the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan. After that, the situation was studied by the Tashlak district branch of the trade union of education and science workers of Uzbekistan, and the teacher's problem was resolved positively.

As it turned out, due to the fact that the integration of pedagogical workers' data with the ERP program has not yet been fully completed, these processes will be fully completed in September 2025, and the August bonuses of 11 teachers in the district will be added to their September salaries.
