The ministry asked not to misinterpret reports about school uniforms

Dilfuza Sobirova, head of the information service of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, asked not to misinterpret the news about the mandatory introduction of school uniforms.

D. Sobirova said that the procedure for arriving schoolchildren in school uniforms is determined by the internal regulations of general education institutions, and this requirement does not mean that school uniforms are not mandatory.

In accordance with the "Improved Model Rules of Conduct of General Education Institutions," approved by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, each general education school in our country has adopted its own internal regulations in this regard.

According to it, the order of arrival of schoolchildren in school uniform is determined by these internal regulations of general education institutions. This requirement does not mean that school uniforms are not mandatory.
