The winners of the "Zakovat" competition among schoolchildren have been determined.

The "Zakovat" competition among schools began on April 14 of this year. From April 14 to April 18, the district (city) stage of the competition was held daily throughout the republic.

The teams that took the first three places in the district (city) stage participated in the regional stage. The teams that took the top three places in the regional stage took part in the republican stage.

The district (city) and regional stages of the competition were held in three rounds with a total of 30 questions. The republican stage of the competition was held in four rounds with a total of 48 questions.

At the conclusion of the fiercely contested competition, the following teams took prize-winning places:

1st place: team of school No. 52 of Chust district of Namangan region;

2nd place: team of school No. 48 of Ishtikhan district of Samarkand region;

3rd place: AFCHO'SMUO'TMI team No. 92 from Bog'ot district, Khorezm region.

These teams were awarded diplomas, medals, and cash prizes in the following amounts:

1st place: 100 million soums;

2nd place: 60 million soums;

3rd place: 40 million soums.

Commemorative gifts were also presented to all the teams that participated in the republican stage.
