Autumn vacation in schools will begin on November 4

November 2 is the last day of the first quarter for schoolchildren, and November 4 is the first day of the autumn vacation. The holiday lasts 6 calendar days, that is, until November 9. The second quarter will start on November 11.

In accordance with the Regulation approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 140 of 2017, vacation days for students are defined as follows:

• autumn vacation - 6 calendar days from November 4;

• winter vacation - 14 calendar days from December 28;

• spring vacation - 7 calendar days from March 21;

• summer vacation - from the day of the last stage control test (the day after the end of the academic year for classes without stage control) until September 1.

An additional one-week vacation is scheduled for the 1st grade students during the month of February.

For information: If the last day of the vacation falls on a holiday (non-working) day, classes will be resumed from the next working day.

Subjects of lessons that fall on holiday (non-working) days will be conducted in the next lessons, with a condensed curriculum.
