In Washington, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC "Kazaktelekom," "Freedom Holding Corp." and "OpenAI, Inc." signed a memorandum of cooperation on the development of artificial intelligence-based education and digital skills throughout Kazakhstan.
According to the agreement, teachers in Kazakhstan will be able to use the ChatGPT Edu version. The ChatGPT Edu version, created for widespread use in education, offers access to the latest OpenAI models with corporate-level security, data privacy, and administrative management.
It includes advanced capabilities such as data analysis, document synthesis, and the creation of specialized GPTs. These opportunities will save teachers' time and free them from unnecessary administrative work.
Within the framework of the memorandum, at least 165,000 OpenAI licenses will be issued to teaching staff annually for the next three years.
