Finally, the development of the Education Code is planned

As you know, we have previously proposed several times the need for a unified education code. After that, we also published a rationale for the necessity of the Education Code.

Finally, in the draft document "On Approving the National Strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Human Rights until 2030," it is planned to develop an Education Code.

In the draft document:

• systematization of concepts and norms of laws and by-laws regulating the sphere of education;

• improvement of provisions aimed at ensuring the constitutional right of a person to education;

• strengthening the status, protecting the dignity and care for teachers;

• creation of benefits for teachers, strengthening their place in society;

• establishing the responsibility of educational entities and parents for the formation of an environment based on a culture of human rights in educational organizations.

At the same time, the legislative framework in the field of education will be comprehensively systematized, and a draft of the Education Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be developed.

After that, the draft education code will be submitted for public discussion. The draft Education Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which passed the discussion, will be submitted to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.
