Head of the Public Education Info editorial office met with the Children's Ombudsman

Today, an important meeting took place between the Authorized Representative of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Rights of the Child - Children's Ombudsman Surayyo Rakhmonova and the head of the Public Education Info editorial office Ulugbek Pulatov.

Dilnoza Yusupova, the press secretary of the Children's Ombudsman, and Muzaffar Umirov and Sevinch Kholikova, correspondents of the xalqtaliminfo.uz website, also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, issues of large-scale cooperation in the field of protecting children's rights, reducing violence in educational institutions, and strengthening the psychological health of teachers were discussed.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached on joint work within the framework of the "Stress-Free Education" project, conducting surveys among teachers to identify a predisposition to stress and violence, and communicating proposals in this regard to the government.

From now on, the Public Education Info editorial office will become an information partner in covering the work carried out by the Children's Ombudsman.

The parties also exchanged views on the preparation of special episodes on the topic of violence against children in the "Tanaffus" podcast, the exchange of information on current issues raised on social networks, and cooperation in the production of social videos on education planned by the editorial office.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to sign a memorandum between the People's Education Info editorial office and the Children's Ombudsman to strengthen cooperation in the above areas.
