Another student from Uzbekistan won a 100 percent grant to Harvard University.
Sobirova Dilafruz Salohiddin qizi, an 11th-grade student at the Presidential School in Fergana, was admitted to the Integrative Biology program at Harvard University and won a 100% grant for 4 years.
This was announced by Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reform.
According to the information, Dilafruz Sobirova was born on April 1, 2008, in the Kuva district of the Fergana region. Currently, she is an 11th-grade student at the Presidential School in Fergana.
To date, he has scored 1540 points on the SAT international exam and 8.0 points on the IELTS international exam. In the main subject Olympiad, he took 1st place in the Fergana region in English and received a B2 degree in the multilevel exam in German.
She is also the head of the school's eco-committee, a two-time participant in the Hogwarts summer camp organized by the University of New Uzbekistan, a semi-finalist of the Hippo International English Language Olympiad, a member of Harvard's HPAIR conference, a student representative of the Technovation Girls international competition, and a finalist of the "Be an explorer" competition organized by UNESCO.
Dilafruz Sobirova actively participated in the "Daughters of the Digital Generation" project competition with her project called "EcoHelp." In this project, he developed an application aimed at solving the problem of waste, which is one of the biggest problems of today, through which it is possible to encourage active citizens.
Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, wished Dilafruz Sobirova success and said that she would justify the trust of the head of state.
"As you can see, Dilafruz was able to effectively use the conditions created in our country and achieved this level thanks to her tireless work. Currently, Asilbek Ashurov, a student of the Presidential School in Gulistan, Guzalkhon Khaydarova, a student of the Presidential School in Namangan, and other young people are studying at Harvard University.
The reforms of the head of our state in education are bearing fruit: thanks to such achievements and results. I congratulate Dilafruz once again, and thank her parents and teachers. It should be recalled that earlier the national program "Talented Children of the President" was launched, and the "Harvard School" was launched in Uzbekistan.
