Almost every day, videos about teaching staff beating students are spreading on social networks and causing wide discussions.

If we monitor the official pages of regional pre-school and school education departments, we can witness that after almost every third message, an official statement is made about a disappointing situation in some school.

Alisher Kadyrov, the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, wrote on his telegram page that addressing the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, it should completely abandon its employees who have no pedagogical skills, are ignorant and restless.

But are we dealing with the root of the problem?

Do we also study the cause of such situations? Have we studied the level of stress in educational institutions and analyzed its causes? Are there clinics in Uzbekistan that provide free socio-psychological services to teachers? Has anyone tried to open such clinics?

Well, let's say we fired nervous and restless teachers, but will the situation change? Can anyone guarantee that other teachers will not be in this situation? When will we start providing psychological services to pedagogues whose days are stressful?

I think that the government, the ministry, and the deputies should first find answers to these questions. Punishment will never fix the situation. The fact that an official statement has been issued does not mean that the matter is closed. We need to deal more with the root of the problem. Punishment is only a temporary measure.

Yes, in developed countries, if an employee falls into such a situation, a sick leave is issued to him. In our practice, the employee is fired. Because it seems that our officials are used to fighting with consequences and not with causes.
