Informatics teachers will be trained based on the artificial intelligence training program.

As you know, on June 30 of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with young people.

At the meeting, it was announced that the Ministry of Preschool and School Education will update the curricula based on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's artificial intelligence education program.

At the same time, 100 computer science teachers from each region will be trained in this program at the New Uzbekistan University this year.

These mentor teachers train the remaining computer science teachers in their region using a cascade method over two years.

Thanks to this, in five years, all school graduates will receive sufficient knowledge of artificial intelligence.

In the "Girls of the Digital Generation" competition, 120 startup projects of 7,000 students and pupils were selected in such areas as education, artificial intelligence, the "green" economy, and climate change.

This year, at least 50,000 girls will be covered by the "Daughters of the Digital Generation" project.
