"10 thousand US dollars were collected for the certification of teachers" - SSS

A number of illegal actions carried out for the purpose of passing the attestation and professional certification of pedagogical workers were revealed. This was reported by the State Security Service.

A teacher of a general education school in the city of Nukus, on the instructions of the deputy director of this school, was caught red-handed by officers of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Republic of Uzbekistan while receiving 1000 US dollars from a colleague working in the Chimbay district in exchange for passing tests for obtaining a professional certificate.

During the pre-investigation check, it was revealed that the deputy director took 1000-1500 US dollars from each teacher in exchange for the state certification of more than 100 teachers and reflected this in his personal notebooks and papers.

Also, the chief methodologist of the Department for Organizing the Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications of Teachers of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Karakalpakstan was found to be involved in this illegal activity, who voluntarily transferred 10,450 US dollars collected from teachers in exchange for assistance in conducting the state attestation.

At the same time, it became known that the National Guard officer, who created conditions for teachers to access the testing process using mobile devices without conducting a personal examination, also approached his duties with indifference.

It turned out that they divided the money received as a bribe among themselves.

A criminal case has been initiated against these individuals under Article 210, Part 2, Clause "g" of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
