I have been teaching English for 12 years. In 2022, I received a C1 certificate, worked for 1 month, and went on maternity leave.
I returned to work in September 2023, and my certificate expires in August of this year, meanwhile, on May 30, 2025, I received a Tesla certificate, and now they're firing me because I don't have a B2 national certificate.
Will I quit my job even with my qualification class? Please, get an answer to my question from the relevant authorities.

Clause 9 of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 312 of May 19, 2021, stipulates that all foreign language teachers working in general secondary, secondary specialized, and vocational educational institutions until the 2025/2026 academic year must have a national or equivalent international certificate of at least the B2 level.
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education also issued a strict warning to foreign language teachers about the need to obtain B2 level certificates by the 2025/2026 academic year.
It is established that if teachers who have received a warning do not receive a national or equivalent international certificate by the 2025/2026 academic year, their employment contract will be terminated.
According to this procedure, if the Ministry of Preschool and School Education does not introduce special exceptions, a foreign language teacher is required to have a national or equivalent international certificate of at least B2 level by September 2025, even if the previously obtained certificate has recently expired, as well as if they have the appropriate qualification category.
Therefore, teachers who currently do not have the appropriate certificate must apply for a language certificate and obtain a national or equivalent international certificate of at least B2 level by September 2025.
