The head of the Department of Preschool Education was caught trying to sell the position of kindergarten director for 1000 dollars.
The head of the preschool and school education department of one of the districts of Namangan region was caught taking a bribe. This was reported by the State Security Service.
It turned out that the head of the district kindergarten and the heads of two private kindergartens conspired to gain the citizen's trust. They demanded $2,500 in exchange for appointing a citizen to the position of director of one of the state preschool educational institutions in another district through their official acquaintances.
Initially, during the operation, the head of one of the family-run private preschools was detained while receiving $2,500. Then the operation was continued, and the head of the second family non-state preschool educational institution was detained while receiving this money from him.
In turn, it was established that he was supposed to give $1000 to the head of the district school and preschool education department, and this official was also detained with material evidence when receiving this money.
It was reported that a criminal case has been initiated against them under Article 168, Part 3, Clause "a" (Fraud) and Article 211, Part 1 (Bribery) of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
