The introduction of the position of school advisor may be postponed.

As you know, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Measures to Raise the System of Extracurricular Education to a New Level," starting from October 1, 2025, the position of school advisor with 1 staff unit was established in general secondary education schools.

In order to ensure the implementation of this resolution, on September 30, 2025, Order No. 368 of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education was also signed, which approved the list of schools where the position of school consultant will be introduced from October 1, 2025, the composition of the Working Group on hiring specialists for the position of school consultant, and the qualification characteristics of consultants.

Therefore, on October 7, 2025, a voice chat on the topic "Procedure for Introducing the Position of School Advisor" was held on the Telegram channel xalqtaliminfo.uz.

After this voice chat, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education contacted us and announced that a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on the procedure for introducing the position of school advisor is expected to be signed.

According to the Ministry, the position of school advisor will be introduced not from October 1, 2025, but after the signing of the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, which will approve the structure of the "Kelajak" center in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, as well as districts (cities), and appoint their leaders.

After the structure is approved, the directors of the "Kelajak" centers will be appointed to the regions, districts (cities), after which the composition of the working group of the "Kelajak" centers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, as well as districts (cities) will be formed to hire specialists for the position of school consultant.

After that, candidates for the position of school advisor are interviewed by this Working Group, a special training course is organized for the candidates who successfully pass it, and candidates for the position of school advisor are involved in testing at the end of the training course.

Candidates who successfully pass the interview, the training course, and the final test are issued a special "certificate" by the working group. Candidates who have received a certificate are referred to the relevant educational institutions, and the school principals issue an order on the hiring of candidates for the position of school advisor.

"The procedure for introducing the position of school advisor in educational institutions is planned to be implemented in two stages. At the first stage, school advisors will be appointed in 3,400 schools by December.

The second stage will begin in January 2026, and work will continue on selecting school consultants for the remaining about 7,000 schools," the ministerial official told xalqtaliminfo.uz.

Thus, the general conclusion is that the process of introducing the position of school advisor will be carried out not from October 1, 2025, but after the adoption of the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.

First, the structure of the "Kelajak" centers will be approved, and their leaders will be appointed. Subsequently, the selection, training, and hiring of school consultants will be gradually implemented in 3,400 schools by December 2025, and in the remaining approximately 7,000 schools starting in 2026.
