All the deputy directors are being fired, is this true?

I'm writing from Andijan region. In our school, there are 2 complete "spiritual activists." My partner was fired due to the arrival of a new position.

Now an order will be issued for me too. Our director is saying that all "spiritual workers" will be fired. Is this true?

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Measures to Raise the System of Extracurricular Education to a New Level," starting from October 1, 2025, the position of school consultant with 1 staff unit will be introduced in general secondary schools.

At the same time, it is envisaged that from October 1, 2025, the position of Deputy Director for Spiritual and Educational Work in general secondary educational organizations will be introduced at the expense of 3,400 staff positions vacated by allocating 1 staff unit to each general secondary educational organization.

In order to ensure the implementation of this resolution, on September 30, 2025, Order No. 368 of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education was also signed, which approved the list of schools where the position of school consultant will be introduced from October 1, 2025, the composition of the Working Group on hiring specialists for the position of school consultant, and the qualification characteristics of consultants.

Based on the foregoing, it can be said that, as a rule, the positions of deputy directors in educational institutions with more than 1 staff unit will be reduced.

That is, in all schools of the republic, only 1 deputy director for spiritual and educational work is employed. Therefore, the dismissal of all deputy directors in educational institutions is against the law.

It should also be noted that, according to information provided to xalqtaliminfo.uz by an official of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the position of school advisor is planned to be gradually introduced not from October 1, 2025, but after the signing of the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, until December 2025.

Therefore, currently, dismissing not only all deputy directors but also the deputy directors who are being laid off is considered a wrong practice.

We remind you that at the same time, Order No. 368 on the procedure for introducing the position of school advisor, signed by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education on September 30, 2025, was deleted from the "Ijro.gov.uz" interdepartmental unified electronic system of executive discipline.
