An Alisher Navoi Olympiad will be held among students, and the winners will be admitted to study on a grant basis.

A Presidential Decree "On Additional Measures for the Further Development of the State Language" has been adopted. According to him:

starting from 2026:

• a new generation of textbooks on teaching the Uzbek language will be created for general secondary educational organizations where education is conducted in related languages;

• development of teaching aids for teachers on teaching the Uzbek language in preschool educational organizations;

• An illustrated dictionary "My First Explanatory Dictionary" will be created for preschool children;

• Development of modern animated video and audio products for teaching children the Uzbek language.

According to the resolution:

• competition of essays on the topic of the Uzbek language among students of general education schools;

• a republican competition "Best Uzbek Language Teacher of the Year" is held among Uzbek language teachers;

• The International Uzbek Language Olympiad named after Alisher Navoi is held annually in cooperation with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and other ministries and organizations.

The winners of this Olympiad will be admitted to higher educational institutions of the republic in the field of "philology and language teaching: Uzbek language and literature" on the basis of a state grant in addition to the general admission quota.
