Will school teachers also receive subsidies for obtaining national certificates?

I read about the allocation of subsidies to teachers for obtaining national certificates. Does this also apply to school teachers?

On February 5 of this year, Resolution No. PP-49 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was signed.

According to the resolution, from July 1, 2026, to January 1, 2028, the following types of subsidies will be introduced at the expense of the State Employment Promotion Fund, aimed at improving the quality of vocational education:

• internationally recognized certificates of professional education for teachers and production training masters;

• it is also envisaged to reimburse 50 percent of the funds spent on obtaining national certificates based on the list approved by the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, but not exceeding 20 BRV.

But this does not apply to school teachers

As is known, the Agency for Vocational Education was established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-190 dated October 23, 2025.

The Agency is an organization under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and is mainly responsible for coordinating the activities of vocational education organizations, that is, technical schools, and managing the field of vocational education.

Presidential Decree No. PP-49 also mentions improving the quality of vocational education, and the established subsidies are also provided to teachers and production training masters working in the field of vocational education.

This resolution does not provide for teachers working in the preschool and school education system.
