Tashkent is studying the need for school buses
Tashkent is conducting a study to determine how students travel to school, what types of transportation they use, and whether there is a need for school buses. This was reported by Daryo.uz.
The survey is being conducted by the Road Traffic Management Center to assess the possibility of introducing school buses in Tashkent, determine the level of demand for them, and consider the implementation of such a system based on the identified need.
As part of the survey, parents are asked to provide information about their child’s place of residence, the school and grade they attend, the time they leave for school, and the type of transportation they use to get there. The survey also asks whether the child needs a school bus service.
If a family has more than one school-aged child, information about each child should be entered separately.
No personal data is collected during the survey. The information gathered will be used solely for general analysis and to assess the need for and feasibility of introducing a school bus system in Tashkent.
The survey results will be used to identify existing transportation challenges faced by students when traveling to school and to assess which areas have the greatest need for school bus services.
