"School Buses" were purchased using the Ministry's saved funds.
Special school buses have been launched to transport students to schools in remote areas of the Kushrabat district of the Samarkand region. This was reported by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
It was reported that 17 "School Buses" were purchased for schools located in remote areas of the region (about 300 km away) using the saved funds of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
These buses will allow more than 750 students studying in 20 remote schools in the Kushrabat district to easily and safely reach their schools.
The bus is equipped with road signs, surveillance cameras, and a medical box to ensure the safety of students.
At the expense of the allocated funds, the costs of paying monthly wages to drivers, fuel supply, and maintenance of buses were also taken into account.
As is known, starting from the 3rd quarter of 2025, free bus services will be established for students traveling to 100 schools from remote areas.
For information, based on the 2024 State Program, bus services were launched for 100 schools in remote and hard-to-reach areas of Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions.

Tashkent is studying the need for school buses
Tashkent is conducting a study to determine how students travel to school, what types of transportation they use, and whether there is a need for school buses.
News
It was proposed to launch school buses in Tashkent.
However, the fact that students come to city schools not only from different districts of the capital, but also from the region makes it difficult to implement the project.
