There are still misunderstandings regarding the certification of teaching staff. That is, many teachers with 15 years of work experience say whether we will be involved in the certification or not. If you remember, on September 17, 2021, by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 572, the regulation on the procedure for certification of pedagogues was approved.
At that time, in paragraph 6, paragraph 2 of the regulation, it was said that highly qualified teachers who have 15 years of continuous work experience in educational organizations will not be involved in lifelong certification. The teachers were very happy. But their happiness did not last long.
Because, on August 2, 2022, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 425, not those who have 15 years of continuous work experience, but only pedagogic personnel who have maintained the higher qualification category for 15 years and have continuous work experience will not be involved in the next mandatory attestation marked.
Then a problem arose here, and many began to ask questions about what the top-class teachers, who have 15 years of service by August 2, 2022, will do next.
After that, the Ministry of Public Education issued a separate letter stating that the normative legal documents do not have retroactive effect, therefore, until August 2, 2022, he had 15 years of continuous work experience and had a higher category (where the higher category has period of stay is not important) said that it is not applied to pedagogues.
Now, it is said that pedagogues who have 15 years of continuous work experience by August 2, 2022 will also be involved in certification this year. In fact, they made a problem out of nowhere by proposing not to involve pedagogues with 15 years of work experience for lifetime certification. They took a very shallow view of the issue and made a decision.
