From now on, the attendance of students in grades 10-11 in Tashkent will be monitored by cameras.

Special cameras will be installed in the 10th and 11th classrooms of all general education schools in Tashkent, and the possibility of monitoring high school students' attendance, their interest in subjects, and the quality of education will be created through the implementation of the "Smart School" electronic program. A decision on this was signed by the khokim of Tashkent, Sh. Umurzakov.

Initially, in the Almazar district of the city of Tashkent, as a pilot project, the quality of education in 250 classes of 31 general education schools will be constantly monitored through the "Smart School" electronic program, the attendance of students in classes will be determined, their mental state will be studied using artificial intelligence, and it will also be possible to assess students' interest in subjects and the pedagogical potential of teachers.

It turned out that such a proposal came from Durdona Rakhimova, Deputy Hokim of Tashkent for Youth Policy, Social Development and Spiritual and Educational Work.

The decision states that the Deputy Mayor of Tashkent (D. Rakhimova), the Tashkent City Department of Preschool and School Education (I. Yuldasheva), and district administrations will take measures to install special cameras in 10th and 11th grade classrooms at the expense of the district local budget to monitor student attendance and the quality of education in higher grades of general education schools in Tashkent.

In this decision of the khokim of the city of Tashkent, there is no information on which foreign experience is being studied and whether the work is being carried out based on the results of scientific research conducted in this area.
