From May, the amount of child benefits for families whose children do not attend school will be reduced.
On February 27, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers signed a resolution "On improving the procedures for providing assistance aimed at lifting families out of poverty."
According to the regulation approved by this resolution, starting May 1, 2025, assistance to low-income families will be provided on the basis of a social contract in all regions of the republic.
In this case, the social contract concluded with low-income families also obligates members of the poor family studying in educational institutions to regularly attend classes.
If this condition is not met, the amount of benefits for children from low-income families will be reduced.
