Pedagogical classes are now organized in general educational institutions, and special certificates are given to graduates who have completed this class. Graduates of the pedagogical class with a certificate will have the right to work as an assistant educator in preschool educational organizations.

The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers was adopted "On the purposeful preparation of students of general secondary educational institutions for the profession of pedagogue and measures to ensure the employment of graduates".

According to it, pedagogical classes are organized in the 10th and 11th grades. In this case, among the students, those who have the ability and interest in the profession of pedagogue are selected and are admitted to pedagogical classes by the order of the director based on the recommendation of the school's pedagogical council.

The educational process in pedagogical classes is carried out in the following order:

In the first year of study (10th grade):

students' ideas about the importance and specific features of the pedagogue's profession will be expanded;

values of the pedagogic profession, speech culture of the pedagogue, requirements for the modern pedagogue's activity, his image and manners are given;

knowledge is provided about the professional qualities of the educator, the spiritual image of the modern educator, and the professional training of the assistant educator.

In the second year of study (grade 11):

primary knowledge of students in the field of pedagogy, psychology, methodology of educational work is developed and deepened;

modern trends in the science and practice of pedagogy, educational strategies and models are taught, the importance of non-traditional methods in the work of a pedagogue, design and technologicalization of the educational process are taught;

the teacher's culture of interpersonal relations in raising children, mental (psychic) characteristics of the person, psychological characteristics that determine the teacher's behavior, concepts and skills of the teacher's pedagogical ability are taught.

From the 10th grade, the activity of the pedagogical class will be started and no more than 25 students will be admitted to it. Based on demand and need, additional pedagogical classes can be organized.

Pupils in pedagogical classes are educated on the basis of the educational program related to the pedagogical profession for a total of 136 hours during two academic years.

Other issues related to the educational process are determined in accordance with the base well plan and program.

Professors and teachers who are engaged to teach in pedagogical classes are paid hourly from the professional education direction of the school's basic curriculum.

Graduates who have successfully completed the pedagogical class will receive a certificate of level 2 of the National Qualifications Framework of the Republic of Uzbekistan via the "kasb.maktab.uz" platform.

Graduates of the pedagogical class with a certificate will have the right to work as an assistant educator in preschool educational organizations.

For students who failed to pass the final examination, re-final examination will be organized in August of this year. Students who fail to pass the re-final inspection will not be given an additional opportunity and certificate.

The responsibility for the activity of the pedagogical class and the effectiveness of the lesson is assigned to the person in charge determined by the order of the rector of the pedagogical higher education institution attached to the school.

Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizomi coordinates the activities of schools and attached pedagogical higher education institutions and provides methodical support to them.
