1,000 school classrooms to be transferred to educational centers in 2024

Private educational centers were allowed free use of classrooms in schools. This is provided for in the Presidential Decree No. PQ-239 signed on June 27, 2024.
According to the decision, it is now allowed to transfer classrooms of general secondary educational institutions to private educational centers with the right of free use on the basis of direct contracts for the implementation of professional and foreign language teaching activities in free time from the educational process.
At the same time, the list of relevant general secondary educational institutions is approved by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, as well as a contract of gratuitous use is concluded between the balance keeper and the private educational center.
In 2024, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, together with the State Assets Management Agency, will transfer the classrooms of at least 1,000 general secondary educational institutions to private educational centers for free use for the implementation of professional and foreign language teaching activities.
At the same time, high school students from families included in the "Unified Register of Social Protection," who are studying in the relevant general secondary schools by private educational centers that rent classrooms, are taught free of charge, but not more than 20 percent of the total number of students in the training courses.
It should be recalled that Shavkat Mirziyoyev said this on February 23 at a meeting on measures to ensure youth employment.
