From the new academic year, no documents will be kept in paper form in schools

Erkin Murodov, head of the department of the Ministry of School and Preschool Education, spoke with Daryo correspondent about the work on digitalization in the school education system.

According to him, starting from the new academic year, no documents will be kept in paper form in schools.

"In the educational process, more than 10 documents were kept in the school 3-4 years ago. I'm not talking about teachers. There was a pedagogical council and a book of instructions. From the new academic year, no documents will be kept on paper in schools. There was only one document that was being filled out last year - the scoreboard.

From this year, it was also transferred to electronic form. Now more than six million students receive mastery tables in electronic form in the online daily system. Neither the school nor the teacher keeps documents on paper. In this case, it is ensured that the main time of the teacher is spent on quality, the educational process, and the lesson, not on filling out the paper.

We have discarded unnecessary documents. If some documents were filled out on paper, after switching to the electronic system, there was no need for them. For example, we transferred the certificate to an electronic system. In the past, there was a book for registering certificates.

It had to be filled every year, and the pictures had to be pasted. We rejected this document. Or there was a "student movement" notebook when enrolling students. In addition to the orders, there was a record of their arrivals. This was also abandoned. We are trying to simplify the management of the educational process and ensure openness in the system through digitalization," the head of the ministry said.

Earlier, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education announced that from the next academic year, school documents will be fully electronically maintained.

From now on, the bullying tables, the protocols of the pedagogical council, the student movement book, the register of certificates and several other documents will be transferred to electronic mode.

According to the official of the ministry, by 2027, admissions to schools throughout the republic will be fully online. Today, online admission is carried out in more than 1,200 schools in 43 districts and cities. This year, 50,000 out of 521 thousand children were enrolled in schools online. This figure is expected to reach 150,000 by the start of the new academic year.
