French is taught in kindergartens

The Ministry of Preschool and School Education has reached a number of agreements on teaching French and improving the skills of teachers in kindergartens in Uzbekistan using the innovative Kokoro lingua platform of France for 5-6 year old children.
Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova took part in the 19th summit of the International Organization of the Francophone in France.
Within the framework of this summit, a meeting was held between Minister Hilola Umarova and the founder of Kokoro Lingua company Natalie Lasslet.
At this meeting, organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in France, the parties discussed the issues of teaching French to children in preschool educational organizations of Uzbekistan using the innovative Kokoro lingua platform for children aged 5-6 years.
Following the discussions, an agreement was signed on the free teaching of French in 12 preschool educational organizations over the next year.
For reference: Kokoro lingua is an innovative international company for language learning for children.
During the meetings, Minister Hilola Umarova also met with Olivier Brandy, General Director of France Education International.
An agreement was reached with the French side on improving the qualifications of French language teachers in Uzbekistan and training coach teachers, introducing a teacher exchange program, and introducing French language tests (DELF junior, DALF) in Uzbekistan.
For reference: France Education International was founded in 1945, and one of the main areas of activity of the organization is language certification and testing.
