Some private kindergartens were closed due to violations of sanitary requirements.
During the sanitary inspections of 398 private kindergartens in the Syrdarya region, a number of violations were identified. This was reported by UzA.
During the inspections, it was found that the conditions created for children in many institutions do not meet sanitary requirements.
In particular, it became known that the kitchens of 60 kindergartens are in need of repair, there are interruptions in the water supply, and handwashing equipment is not sufficiently equipped.
It was also noted that in some institutions, employees and children did not undergo medical examinations within the established timeframes, bed linens were worn out, and some rooms and doors needed repair.
Based on the identified shortcomings, the activities of a number of kindergartens were temporarily suspended. This measure was taken to compel officials to eliminate shortcomings and ensure a healthy and safe environment for children.
"Based on the results of the inspection, administrative fines totaling 333 million 480 thousand soums were imposed by the judicial authorities on 329 responsible persons who violated sanitary norms and standards," says Jurabek Khasanov, Head of the Syrdarya Regional Department of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Committee under the Ministry of Health.
It was reported that specialists from the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, city and district departments had previously conducted training seminars on sanitary and hygiene requirements for heads of private kindergartens. However, despite this, violations of requirements still persist in some organizations.
Officials emphasized that compliance with sanitary rules and hygiene requirements is mandatory for all educational institutions, regardless of their form of ownership.
Special working groups have been created to eliminate the identified shortcomings, and control work continues at the regional level.
