The cultivation of tulip trees has begun in schools in Sariosiyo.

The plant in the picture is an ornamental tulip tree, which is mainly grown in North America. Tulip tree (Latin Liriodendron tulipifera) - a species of ornamental tree of the Magnoliaceae family, mainly growing in North America.
Due to its beautiful flowers, which resemble tulip flowers in appearance, this tree is called "tulip tree," meaning "tulip tree." The tree reaches a height of 15-30 meters, its crown spreads widely.
Currently, 18 kg of seeds from this tree have been planted on the vacant land of School No. 24 in the Sariosiyo district. This was reported by the Information Service of the Department of Preschool and School Education of Surkhandarya region.
A thousand seedlings can be obtained from 1 kg of tulip seed. This tree is not only a beautiful landscape, but also a source of income.
One tree sapling is valued at an average of 370,000 soums. In addition, wood is widely used in the production of furniture, musical instruments, radio receivers, agricultural machinery, and the paper industry.
"If the experience of School No. 24 proves successful, it is planned to grow tulips in all schools of the region in the future," the regional administration said.
