A warning has been issued to foreign language teachers without a certificate.

It is known that English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Persian, Pashto, Dari, Urdu, and Hindi are considered languages. That is, teachers who teach these languages are considered foreign language teachers.
Clause 9 of Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 312 of May 19, 2021, stipulates that all foreign language teachers working in general secondary, secondary specialized, and vocational educational institutions until the 2025/2026 academic year must have a national or equivalent international certificate of at least the B2 level.
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education also issued a strict warning to foreign language teachers about the need to obtain B2 level certificates by the 2025/2026 academic year.
In fact, this procedure was introduced earlier, and with the intervention of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the requirement to obtain a national or equivalent international certificate of the B2 level was postponed.
Is the ministry's decision final this time?
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education informed Daryo.uz that the figures are currently being analyzed and studied. In July-August, many teachers applied for a language certificate, and the results will be received closer to September.
Starting from the new academic year, the employment contract may be terminated with a foreign language teacher who does not have at least a B2 certificate. It has been repeatedly stated that the requirement for a certificate is an achievement of quality education. It is envisaged that a foreign language teacher must know a foreign language at least at the level of B2, that is, at the level of a bachelor's degree upon graduation from higher education.
A warning has been issued to foreign language teachers
According to the source of Xalqtaliminfo.uz, all regional departments of preschool and school education have been given an oral instruction by the ministry to once again warn foreign language teachers who do not have the appropriate certificate.
After that, all regional departments gave official instructions to the directors of general education schools and asked them to provide analytical information about foreign language teachers working in schools.
Official warning letters are also issued to foreign language teachers by the directors of many educational institutions.
The requirement for foreign language teachers to have at least a B2 level language certificate is being assessed by the public as one of the important decisions aimed at improving the quality of education.
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education has already started warning processes in this regard, and this time we can see that they are approaching the issue more strictly.
This time, the employment contract may be terminated with teachers who do not meet the certificate requirement until the 2025/2026 academic year.
