By Resolution No. 474 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated July 29, 2025, the Regulation "On the Procedure for Admitting Vacationers to Recreation Centers in the System of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education" was approved.

According to it, the procedure for admitting employees of the ministry system, including teaching staff and gifted students (7-14 years old) of state general secondary education organizations, to recreation centers in the ministry system has been determined.

In recreation areas:

• for employees of the ministry system and leading teachers - in September-May;

• for gifted students - 12 days off in June-August.

Is this privilege for everyone?

No, this benefit is not for everyone. These referrals are issued only to advanced and gifted students in the preschool and school education system.

In addition, these referrals can be issued to employees of the central office of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions, and the heads and employees of republican organizations and institutions of the Ministry's system.

Who are considered advanced teachers?

• teachers who trained winners of international olympiads;

• winners of international olympiads working as teachers;

• teachers with international certificates in foreign languages and STEAM subjects (TESOL Level 5, SEFR B2, IELTS 6 and higher, as well as other certificates established by the Ministry);

• teachers who trained the winners of the republican stage of the main Olympiads;

• teachers who have won honorary places at the republican stage of reviews and competitions;

• primary school teachers with the highest and first qualification categories, teachers of preschool educational organizations;

• teachers who have trained the winners of the regional stage of the main Olympiads are recognized as leading teachers.

Who are considered gifted students? (7-14 years old)

• students who took 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in the section of subjects at the third and fourth stages of the main Olympiad;

• winners of regional international olympiads;

• students who participated in prestigious international olympiads;

• winners of international competitions, festivals, and contests;

Winners of the republican stage of various reviews, competitions, and contests organized by organizations of the republican level are recognized as gifted students.

At the same time, the Ministry will organize the activities of commissions for the selection of employees of the Ministry's system, including teaching staff and gifted students, in each region.

The Commission includes the Minister of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, heads of departments of preschool and school education of regions and the city of Tashkent, directors of regional "Barkamol Avlod" children's schools, chairmen of trade unions, heads of school education departments of district (city) khokimiyats, and parents as members.

By order of the Minister of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the heads of the departments of preschool and school education of the regions and the city of Tashkent, working groups consisting of 7 members are created under the leadership of the heads of district (city) departments of preschool and school education.

Working groups submit documents of gifted students who meet the selection criteria to the commissions for study annually by March 1, and documents of employees of the Ministry system and teaching staff - annually by August 1.

The commission, in turn, selects candidates who will go to recreation centers based on the established criteria and issues vouchers to recreation centers.

It should be recalled that earlier it was decided to reorganize 7 recreation centers in the republic as recreation centers for teachers and gifted students.

According to it, the "Republican House of Mercy" in Tashkent region, "Lochin" in Jizzakh region, "Gagarin" in Kashkadarya region, "Kokand Nafosat" in Fergana region, "Kaldirg'och," "Khumor" and "Yoshlik" in Samarkand region were reorganized as recreation centers.
