The director who involved teachers in school repairs was fired and fined 41.2 million soums.

On August 2 of this year, a message was circulated on social networks under the heading "Hashar at Secondary School No. 42 of the Markhamat district?."

The situation in the videos, which caused discussions on social networks, occurred on August 2 of this year, in which a group of teachers is carrying out the process of hashar.

It turned out that the school director had forcibly sent the teachers to repair work, threatening them with insufficient teaching hours.

According to the Andijan Regional Department of Preschool and School Education, in a conversation with the school staff, it was noted that this hashar was carried out voluntarily, but the school director Z.M. was dismissed from his post due to the fact that he did not take control of the performance of work by teachers outside his official duties.

The State Labor Inspectorate of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction conducted an investigation into this situation on August 4 of this year and confirmed the situation.

Following this, the school principal, Z. Mamajonova, was fined 100 times the Basic Calculated Amount (BCA) under Article 51, Part 2 of the Administrative Offenses Code.

For reference: Secondary School No. 42, located in the "Yangi hayot" mahalla citizens' assembly of the Markhamat district, was built in 1982 and underwent current repairs in 2005.

The school was renovated in 2023 under the "Participatory Budget" project with doors and frames worth 1.2 billion soums. In the 2024 season, 1 billion 300 million soums were won, a sports ground was built, and the facade of the school was modernized.

Currently, 74 qualified teachers are teaching a total of 1,236 students at the school.
