At a recent meeting in "Rayono," it was said that retired teachers would not be taught at all this year. How legal is this?

Article 4 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan states that everyone has equal opportunities to exercise and protect their labor rights.
Discrimination in the sphere of labor and occupation is also prohibited, and the establishment of any direct or indirect restrictions in the sphere of labor and occupation based on sex, age, race, nationality, language, social origin, property status and official position, place of residence, attitude to religion, beliefs, membership in public associations, as well as other aspects not related to the business qualities and results of the work of employees, as well as the provision of any direct or indirect benefits, is considered discrimination.
It should be especially noted that the teacher's age does not play a role in the distribution of lessons. In this case, attention is paid to the teacher's quality of education and the results achieved. In any case, teaching hours are distributed among teachers according to the priority sequence established by the Regulation "On the Procedure for Staffing Classrooms and Formation of Tariff Lists in General Education Institutions."
There is no rule that if a teacher is retired, they should be taught less or not taught at all. But if the retired employee has no achievements, if the quality of education in the class he teaches is low, if there are not enough indicators, then in this situation, it is possible to give more teaching hours to an employee who is a specialist in their subject, who has achieved a number of results and has a qualification category.
On the contrary, if the employee, despite being a pensioner, has several achievements and qualification categories, then it is possible to teach more to a teacher of retirement age.
