"Urgent 90 Days": Did the Ministry fulfill its "promise"?
This year, in order to meaningfully organize the free time of schoolchildren, "Urgent 90 Days" events were organized in educational institutions during the summer holidays.
Meanwhile, teachers on vacation began receiving illegal instructions to participate in the "Urgent 90 Days" events. Following this, a critical article was published on the xalqtaliminfo.uz website regarding the situations observed in the regions.
Later, Preschool and School Education officially commented on the situation observed in the regions on the 14th day of the "Urgent 90 Days" events.
In it, the ministry said that the relevant schedule for teachers to go on vacation during the summer vacation period was approved, and according to this plan, teachers will be able to take full leave on the designated days, and it is planned to reward teachers who voluntarily participate in these events with one-time monetary rewards.
A number of teachers contacted xalqtaliminfo.uz and reported that teachers who voluntarily participated in the "Urgent 90 Days" events were not paid a one-time bonus.
A survey was conducted on the editorial office's Telegram channel to study the general situation. More than 11 thousand teachers participated in it, and 4% of respondents (407 people) said that they had paid bonuses, 80% (9073 people) said that bonuses were not paid, and 16% (1832 people) said that they were not involved in these events.
The results of a survey conducted among teachers show that the majority of those involved in the "Urgent 90 Days" events may not have received the expected bonus money. This indicates, on the one hand, insufficient transparency in the implementation of the task, and on the other hand, insufficient recognition of the work of teachers participating in such events.
At the same time, the fact that the ministry did not provide official information on the extent to which this task, mentioned in its official statement, was completed, raises many questions among teachers. In particular, they want to get a clear answer about how the procedure and mechanism for paying bonuses are defined, from which sources the funds should be allocated, and the reasons for the differences, such as whether they were paid in some regions and not in others.
Therefore, we ask the Ministry to provide the public with accurate and official information on the payment of one-time bonuses to teachers who participated in the "Urgent 90 Days" events.
