Some departments of preschool and school education will be moved to another building.

On October 24, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers signed Resolution No. 668 "On Measures for the Implementation of Business Projects on the Replacement of Their Buildings and Structures by Optimally Placing Local Government Bodies in Districts (Cities) Selected for Accelerated Complex Development."

According to the decree, new administrative buildings will be constructed for selected district and city administrations across the republic, and all local government bodies in these districts and cities will be optimally located in one location.

That is, the local khokimiyat, the regional department of preschool and school education (and other departments in the region) will be transferred to the same building.

Premises of preschool and school education departments, vacated as a result of relocation, will be put up for sale through electronic online trading.

According to the Resolution, the following territorial NDCs will be relocated

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Kungrad District and Chimbay District of the Republic of Karakalpakstan;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Asaka District, Andijan Region;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Gijduvan District, Bukhara Region;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Gallaaral District, Jizzakh Region;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Khatyrchi District, Navoi Region;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Chartak District, Namangan Region;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Denau District, Surkhandarya Region;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Syrdarya District, Syrdarya Region;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Yangiyul District, Tashkent Region;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Kuva District and the City of Margilan, Fergana Region;

• Department of Preschool and School Education of Shavat and Khazarasp Districts of Khorezm Region.

For reference: the above-mentioned districts and cities were selected by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 1, 2025 No. PP-132. In the future, measures may be taken for the optimal placement of local government bodies of other districts and cities.
