Has the Ministry of Preschool and School Education deceived the public again?

The autumn certification process caused even greater discontent among teachers. The Ministry of Preschool and School Education issued an official statement on November 3 of this year after the issue of teachers dissatisfied with the results of the certification was raised on the agenda.

The Ministry's official statement also stated its readiness to cooperate with the media, openly answer questions, and plans to hold a press conference in the near future.

Although more than a month has passed since the official announcement of the upcoming press conference, the ministry has not yet held a press conference with the participation of the public, journalists, and bloggers.

Notably, such promises were made during the spring attestation. But even then, the ministry did not organize a press conference and limited itself to just a 4-minute briefing. This time, the briefing was also not held.

In general, the ministry practically did not organize a press conference in 2025. In 2024, approximately 8 press conferences were organized on topical issues. Including:

• On February 14, 2024, a press conference on the work carried out jointly by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and the National Guard;

• On April 1, 2024, a press conference dedicated to the final summary of the activities of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education for 2023 and the processes of certification of teachers in the Ministry's system this year;

• On May 1, 2024, a press conference dedicated to the results of studies on the quality and safety of food in preschool educational organizations;

• On May 24, 2024, a press conference on the results of the qualification (test) examinations of teachers of general secondary educational institutions;

• On June 7, 2024, a press conference dedicated to the processes of organizing the International Biology Olympiad named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina;

• On August 12, 2024, a press conference on the topic "Work carried out on the "Day of Professional Development" and "Hour of Professional Development" being introduced for teachers of general education schools";

• On August 28, 2024, a press conference was held on the topic "Work carried out by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and important reforms in the system";

• On October 29, 2024, a press conference was held dedicated to the processes of organizing and conducting the Republican competition "In the Footsteps of the Jadids."

It should be recalled that earlier, journalist Ilyos Safarov, comparing past years with the present day, objected that officials of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education did not come out to the public even when thousands of children were poisoned, and condemned that none of the minister and his deputies, who are considered the persons who determine educational policy, have yet explained to the public which way education is going.
