In the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev dated December 26 of this year, the task of revising the "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy was set. In accordance with this instruction, an improved draft of the "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy has been developed and submitted for public discussion.

In the draft strategy, special attention is paid to the development of the education sector, in particular, to the issue of decent incentives for the work of pedagogical workers. The document sets the goal of gradually increasing teachers' salaries by 2030.

According to the project, teachers' salaries will be increased not at once, but over the years. In particular, the rate of increase in wages in 2026 will be 0.4 times, in 2027 - 0.8 times, in 2028 - 1.2 times, and in 2029 - 1.6 times. By 2030, it is planned to double the salaries of teachers.
