A 3-year-old kindergarten child died as a result of being left in a car

The incident occurred at a private preschool located in the “Zafar” neighborhood citizens’ assembly (MFY) in Qamashi district, Kashkadarya region. According to reports, on June 4, due to the negligence and carelessness of the preschool staff, a young child was left inside a vehicle.

A 3-year-old pupil of a family-run non-state preschool institution owned by sole proprietor O.A., operating in the “Zafar” MFY of Qamashi district, Kashkadarya region, died after being inadvertently left inside a vehicle.

According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the management and responsible employees of the institution had repeatedly been warned by relevant authorities about the strict observance of rules and requirements for transporting children in motor vehicles.

However, due to the failure to comply with these requirements and obligations, on June 4 of this year, one of the children attending the institution was left inside a vehicle and subsequently died as a result of the negligence and irresponsibility of the institution’s staff.

A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident, and investigative actions are currently underway by the relevant law enforcement authorities. In addition, the contractual documents concluded with sole proprietor O.A. have been terminated.
