Duties of deputy directors for educational affairs "Duties of employees of general secondary educational institutions (specialized institutions where certain subjects are studied in depth)" approved by the order of the Minister of Preschool and School Education dated December 20, 2023 No. 565 regulated.
Duties of the Deputy Director of Academic Affairs include:
➖Organizing the educational process, ensuring the implementation of educational plans and programs in accordance with state educational standards and requirements;
➖control and ensure the timely completion of work related to the educational process, methodological support of the educational process, and organizational-pedagogical processes;
➖monitoring the fulfillment of educational standards and requirements, monitoring the learning and behavior of students, organizing corrective exercises and science circles;
➖Drawing up lesson schedules in accordance with the basic curriculum, taking into account sanitary rules and norms;
➖participating in the selection and placement of teachers, leading educational-methodical and correctional work, organizing the study, popularization and generalization of the best practices of teachers;
➖Controlling the development and implementation of the annual plan of teachers' activities, development of lessons, corrective exercises, step-by-step control exams and final state certification tables and other educational activities;
➖control over the conduct of lessons and corrective exercises by science teachers based on the approved schedule and calendar-subject plan;
➖control over the recording by science teachers of the subjects taught according to the calendar-topic plan, the assessment of students' mastery of the subjects taught in the class journals (electronic journals) on the same day of the lesson;
➖Conducting current, intermediate and final control work by science teachers on the basis of the plan, controlling the examination of students' written work and notebooks, in necessary cases, giving methodical recommendations;
➖Analyzing lessons and correctional training conducted by science teachers, educators, making methodological recommendations;
➖ensure and supervise the conduct of group classes organized by science teachers to work with gifted students who have difficulties in mastering subjects, based on the approved schedule;
➖Ensuring that science teachers study in advanced training courses in the regions where the traditional advanced training system is in effect (in the areas where the continuous advanced training system is implemented, including through electronic advanced training systems, the professional development of pedagogical staff is the personal responsibility of the teacher);
➖ensure that the subjects of the lessons that fall on the holiday (non-working) days specified in the relevant legal documents will be conducted in the next lesson sessions, with the curriculum condensed (with the topics intensified);
➖Ensuring the preservation of class journals of educational institutions using traditional class journals (in educational institutions where electronic journals have been introduced, only the printed version of the annual report on classes);
➖Forming the tariff list of teachers and entering it into the electronic program;
➖participate in the correct distribution of lessons to teachers according to the education and qualification category of the teacher according to the current legal documents, as well as in the processes of preparing and conducting the certification of employees;
➖drawing up a schedule of training sessions and other types of educational activities, ensuring that the lessons of non-temporary teachers are replaced on time, keeping a journal of missed lessons and classes taken in place of another teacher;
➖Grouping students into one class on the basis of established norms, i.e. forming a set of classes;
➖Preparation of a list of lesson hours based on the basic curriculum of general secondary education (total lesson hours for all subjects, taking into account the number of classes, the number of students in the class set, and the availability of teachers in the relevant specialty);
➖Entering or removing students from other general education institutions to the list (enumeration) based on the order of the director of the educational institution (erp base);
➖Participation in the development of the annual work plan of the institution and supervision of the holding of methodical meetings on disciplines;
➖Ensuring the organization of model lessons by teachers;
➖Conducting a pedagogical council in cases where the director of the general secondary educational institution is temporarily absent;
➖participating in encouraging teachers, assigning and rewarding them with monthly allowances, and providing financial support;
➖leading the work of psychologists and teachers to attract school-aged children to education, guide students to the profession, and prepare graduates for vocational training;
➖control the activities of the method associations for the organization of internal control over educational efficiency;
➖Keeping records of the working hours of the employees assigned to him in relation to the direction;
➖Organization of august councils (national forums) in the institution, Participation in pedagogical council, educational seminar, open classes;
➖Respecting the honor, dignity and professional reputation of the participants of the educational process;
➖not to distribute information that may harm the reputation and honor of the educational institution, and to comply with the requirements of legislation when working with state secret information and confidential information;
➖Compliance with the requirements of the charter of the educational institution, rules of professional ethics, sanitary-hygiene, internal work order, labor protection, technical and fire safety rules;
➖Ensuring that the furniture, room equipment, organizational and household appliances entrusted to him for use are used and kept properly, and fire safety requirements are observed in the room where he works;
Deputy directors for educational affairs may perform other functions in accordance with the legislation.
