Article 257 of the Labor Code determines the average salary and the procedure for its calculation.
Attention! We will calculate the vacation pay conditionally. There should be no impression that this is the case. We will make an approximate raw material.
So, we take the salary of a full-time, 1-rate teacher to be approximately 3 million soums during the working year. Let's say that this teacher received a total of 6 million soums in various bonuses and additional payments during the year. Then 6 million / 12=500,000.
3 million+500 thousand=3.5 million. That is, the average monthly salary is 3.5 million. Now let's calculate the average daily wage for 1 day. 3.5 million: 25.3=138,340 soums.
Why exactly is it divided by 25.3?
The reason is that 365 (the number of days in the first year) - 52 (the number of Sundays in the first year) - 9 (the number of non-working holidays in Article 208 of the Civil Code) = 304/12 (the number of months in a year) = 25.3.

Attention! Once again, this is a homchot explained as simply as possible for you to understand! The reason is that Article 257 of the Labor Code contains special aspects of the average salary and its calculation. For example, when calculating the average salary, time is excluded from the calculation period, as well as the amounts calculated during this time, if:
- in accordance with the law, the average salary of the employee is preserved, except for the breaks for feeding the child provided for in Article 407 of this Code;
- if the employee has received temporary incapacity for work allowance or pregnancy and childbirth allowance;
- if the employee did not work due to being idle for reasons beyond the control of the employer and the employee;
- if the employee is given extra paid days off to take care of children with disabilities and persons with disabilities since childhood in accordance with Article 399 of this Code;
- if the employee is exempted from work in which the salary is fully or partially retained or unpaid in other cases specified by the law.
