Artificial intelligence will start teaching schoolchildren in 2025
South Korean technology giants such as LG and Samsung are actively integrating artificial intelligence into school curricula.
Since 2023, LG has introduced "classrooms of the future" in 18 schools, equipping them with digital whiteboards and CLOi robots running on artificial intelligence, which help students and teachers answer questions and play music.
In 2025, South Korea plans to introduce digital textbooks with artificial intelligence for 5 million schoolchildren. These textbooks are tailored for each student and provide additional materials and in-depth programs for those who have achieved success.
Samsung has also contributed by introducing generative AI interactive displays. These displays allow teachers to give voice commands and automatically record lesson information, making it easier to teach and communicate with students.
Naver and Kakao developed educational programs and increased competition in this area.
