A mother who sold her second-grade daughter for $8.7 thousand was sentenced to 8 years in prison

A court verdict was announced against a woman and her partner who sold their daughter, a second-grade student, for $8.7 thousand in Tashkent.

It is reported that a woman from Tashkent urged the mother of five children. Then, in order to prevent the breakdown of one family, he took his daughter and went to the capital to see the conditions of his "clients." His neighbour was the mediator. According to the agreement, the woman on the client side was to receive 10 million soums, and the neighbor 6.5 million soums. The total amount of money for the girl was $8,700 USD.

As a result of the operative event, the perpetrators were caught on the spot with physical evidence.

"I have five children, four of whom are minors. My neighbor said that the nephew had no children and had been struggling with them for a long time. "No," I said. I told him I wanted to speak to his nephew after his phone call. I told him not to break up the family. I didn't want to give up my child. I came to Tashkent to find out if there is a marriage certificate, what kind of house," the woman said.

The woman who was the mediator said that she did it for good.

According to the court verdict, the mother and the neighboring woman were sentenced to 8 years in prison. According to Article 72 of the Criminal Code, the punishment was considered conditional and a three-year probationary period was established. If women commit another crime within the prescribed period, they will be imprisoned for at least 8 years.
