I have been working as a teacher since 2007. In 2021, I participated in the spring certification and received the highest category. Until August 2, 2022, the category of those who received the highest category will be retained for life, and those in this category will not be involved in re-attestation. Will my category then also be preserved permanently?

It is known that the instruction letter signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, established by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 425 of August 2, 2022, states that the procedure for non-attraction to the next mandatory attestation of pedagogical personnel who have maintained the highest qualification category for 15 years and have continuous work experience after obtaining the highest qualification category (the position of head teacher) does not apply to teachers with 15 years of continuous work experience and a higher qualification category (the period of obtaining the highest qualification category

That is, until August 2, 2022, the qualification category of teachers with 15 years of continuous work experience and having a higher category (in this case, the period of having a higher category is not important) will be preserved for life.

Even in the aforementioned situation, we believe that the qualification category of a teacher should be preserved for life.

Currently, it is possible to extract the employee's work experience through the portal my.gov.uz. Accordingly, if the teacher has 15 years of experience before August 2, 2022, and the highest category that was in effect at that time, his qualification category will be retained for life.

It should also be noted that teachers should also contact working groups created by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education in the regions on such issues. It helps them solve their problems faster.
