An addition has been made to the list of measures taken into account when assigning bonuses to teachers.

According to the "Criteria for Evaluating the Activities of Teachers, Psychologists, and Library Staff," approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 823 of September 30, 2019, points are awarded for the participation of a student of a teacher in the district (city) stage of competitions.

In this case, the list of subject Olympiads, reviews, competitions, and events that are taken into account when establishing bonuses is annually approved by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

As is known, the list of subject Olympiads, competitions, contests, and events recommended for consideration when establishing monthly bonuses to the basic tariff rates of teachers in general education institutions for the 2024-2025 academic year is approved by the instruction letter of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education dated January 13, 2025, No. 03-14-75.

The list also included the Al-Khwarizmi International Olympiad in Mathematics and Informatics. That is, when assigning bonuses to teaching staff, it was assumed that only the results of the Al-Khwarizmi International Olympiad in Mathematics and Informatics would be taken into account.

Therefore, even if students achieved results in natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) at the Al-Khwarizmi Olympiad in exact and natural sciences (science), teachers had to be denied points for bonuses. This was previously reported by xalqtaliminfo.uz.

In a directive letter dated March 13, 2025, No. 03-14-769, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, in addition to the list of subject Olympiads, competitions, contests, and events that are taken into account when assigning bonuses to teachers, instructed to take into account the "Al-Khwarizmi Olympiad in Exact and Natural Sciences" and the "Steps to Invention" competitions when assigning monthly bonuses to the basic tariff rates of teachers in general education institutions.

Now, if students achieve results in natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) in the "Steps to Invention" competition and the Al-Khwarizmi Olympiad in exact and natural sciences (science), teachers can be awarded points for bonuses.
